Track By Tracks: Wasted - Five (2025)

Description of songs on the album seen with wasted glasses and story behind the artwork.

We would like to start by saying that our goal with this production in Sonne studios was more of everything. More bass, more drums, and clear guitars with vocals at the audible end of the scale might make it easier to define our tracks when you have that knowledge and listen to the songs.

Opening track:

1. Welcome to the Dark:

Is a powerful up-tempo catchy metal track with evil riff´s, lots of fine guitar details and heavy drums/bass with one text story and messages to the leading leaders in the world who believe they are made of something special and can walk on water at the same time, and be indifferent to all of us other mortals - You can't kill us all.

2. Distorted Deceivers:

Also, a catchy metal track, easy to follow and lots of great elements and surprises as the song develops, and yet again with lyrics in the dark end of doom, about leaders who pretend to help you, just to betray you. OBS: We made a music-video out of this track to be seen on YouTube.

3. My Little Thing of Darkness:

Up-tempo power metal track, just off the highway as a little hidden love song without betraying our own limit of what our lyrics are usually about, because then it's not that. OBS: We made a music-video out of this track to be seen on YouTube.

4. Clown:

A heavy and solid metal track, with dark sounding bass and drums and solid guitars that cut through the song about the man who always made mistakes because he didn't know better, and couldn't find peace and happiness in his relationship.

5. Spooky Dookie:

A pretty silly name for a song that is actually a pretty grim song about the ugly man who haunts you. That was the working title when the song was made, and it just stuck. Then, the lyrics were added later in the process. Spooky Dookie is a heavy and slightly provocative heavy song with lots of headbanging riffs and spooky fills.

6. The World is Mine:

High power, up-tempo heart-pounding heavy number, with lovely little naughty details and cool riffs that just drive off while the story tells of a man of the world, a true leader of the people, a hero who likes to tell how skilled he is at creating havoc and pain and just being his own best friend.

7. Freak of Fury:

A classic heavy number that beats at the same speed as your heart rate will be in a relaxed state, and also when the adrenaline kicks in. The number is spiced with naughty riffs and delicious passages that complement the story of a dangerous man who probably should have been admitted to a sanatorium with his dark thoughts, before he does anyone any harm.

8. Speed Demon:

Up-tempo lightning and thunder track with pumping bass rhythms, fast drums, sawing guitars and melodious guitar solos that stage our story about the Man of the World, the man who will always be better than you, smarter and more capable than you - the guy who knows EVERYTHING. We all know him, we've all met him somewhere or another, only to immediately run screaming from there.

9. Immortal Man:

The heavy artillery is on full alert as the immortal man plows through the tractor tracks and dreams his way to freedom from his cell in the insane asylum.

10. Seasons of the Pale:

Power speed heavy metal number, with a good flow and tempo, cool sawing attack guitars, deep foundation and a story about whatever you do to escape from your past misbehavior will always come back to haunt you. Revenge is sweet and you will pay the price.

11. Distorted:

Is a short acoustic version of the "Distorted Deceivers" track. The track is enhanced with the Danish female singer Sofia Schmidt, who adds a lovely backing vocal to the track.
