Band Biographies: Gore Force 5

Gore Force 5 or Gore Force V is a Belgian death metal band that was founded in 2007.

The play style has a mid tempo to fast deathmetal base but incorporated small elements from different extreme subgenres. In some songs you might hear more grindcore, in others you might find a bit of slam, there's even a song that incorporated a polka bassline and a power metal guitar solo.

The essence is to make heavy music that sounds a bit different from one song to the next and not take itself or the genre too seriously. Something you might have guessed by looking at the artwork used or videos from live shows.

One quote from a booker of a festival we played years ago describes it: "You guys are putting so much needed fun and comedy in the death metal genre."
